St. Peter School has provided an exceptional education for children in South Jersey for over eighty years. As our tagline proudly states, our school provides Academic Excellence Fostered by Catholic Tradition.
Our students experience the benefits of a modern education within an atmosphere of Catholic values:
- Our strong academic core provides students with the tools they need to continue their success through their adult years. Last year our 8th grade students received $172,000 in scholarship funding for high schools in South Jersey and Philadelphia.
- Our weekly foreign language instruction expands the horizons of our students and prepares them for a world full of diversity.
- Our art and music curriculum fosters creativity, critical thinking and pride in accomplishment.
- Our curriculum enhancing Smart Boards have replaced traditional chalkboards and enhanced learning through interactive technology.
- Our faculty promotes individual excellence as an attainable and necessary goal for every student’s development.
Throughout the years, while the curriculum has evolved and technology has been integrated into the classrooms, the core mission of our school has remained the same - to teach, nurture and model Gospel values in the Catholic tradition. Jesus remains the focus of every day, in every classroom, and in every lesson plan. Our dedicated staff of both religious and lay teachers believes their job extends beyond the boundaries of the school day – it is a vocation; a medium in which they instill learning and inspire students to achieve beyond their potential.
