St. Peter Basketball
From Saint Peter School
Every year, more than 150 student athletes participate in programs offered by the St. Peter Basketball organization. The program includes clinics, intramural teams, travel teams, All Star Day, Foul Shooting contest, 8th grade send-off night and a beautiful end of year banquet celebration.
We welcome volunteers to help continue a long tradition of basketball education and sportsmanship for our youth. Please consider becoming a coach, referee or assistant by contacting Athletic Director, Fran McGovern
Many St. Peter basketball alumni return every year to help coach intramural games and instruct the young children at our clinic. We encourage community service among our current athletes and will continue our fall convent clean-up day, initiated last year by the Junior and Varsity athletes.

Basketball Intramurals and Clinic Registration
St. Peter Basketball Program will hold registration for the Intramural Basketball Program (grades 3rd through 8th) and Basketball Clinic Program (Pre-K through 2nd grade) on Monday, November 14th and Wednesday, November 16th from 6 PM to 8 PM in the gym. Registration is $25.
- If you are on one of the travel teams you are already registered for the Intramural Program.

The travel season for both girls and boys begins in December and lasts until the end of March. Practices begin in October.
Basketball Clinic
The Clinic program welcomes children from Kindergarten through 2nd grade and is open to St. Peter students, CCD students, homeschoolers and public school students. This highly successful program introduces girls and boys to the fundamentals of basketball in a fun and disciplined environment. The program is run by dedicated coaches who teach the children basketball, sportsmanship, and instill the confidence they need to execute their learned skills on and off the basketball court.
Intramural Program
The Intramural Program welcomes children from 3rd through 8th grade and is open to St. Peter students, CCD students, homeschoolers and public school students. The games are fun and instructional. Intramural basketball runs from November through February. Games are scheduled every Saturday beginning at 9am. Volunteer staff coach, referee and open the snack stand for the duration of games every Saturday.
