Congratulations to the St. Peter Saints Cross Country Team for a strong start to the season. 18 members of our team took the Cherokee Challenge on Saturday morning by running a 1.5 mile race, competing with some of the finest talent in South Jersey. All of our athletes turned in strong performances and represented St. Peter's School in a manner in which we can be very proud. Special congratulations to Kris N., Mason D., Matt C., Nick R., Meghan G. and Kelsey C. who earned medals in their race. We wish them well next Saturday as they compete in the prestigious South Jersey Shootout at Gloucester County College. Go Saints!

St. Peter Saints finished strong at the November 7th Catholic Cross Country League Championship Meet with first place finishes by Isaiah F., Meghan G., Ann F. and Mason D. in their respective age groups. Matthew C. and Abigail B. took second place and Adam G. finished third. Additionally, there were multiple impressive performances turned in by St. Peter athletes with personal best times for all of our runners. Their hard work and dedication really paid off.
"SPS athletes were terrific. They are such a motivated hard working group. They represented St. Peter's School so well through their hard work and the overall way they present themselves. I could not be prouder!"

On Saturday, October 9th , 13 runners from the St. Peter Cross Country team and 4 of our coaches ran in the Heroes to Hero Memorial Scholarship 5K race in Gloucester City. There were hundreds of participants and we are proud to announce that Megan G. took 2nd place in the 15 and under age group. Coach Maggie placed 1st in her age group. Everyone improved their times and ran for a worthy cause, remembering and honoring 3 firefighters who lost their lives in a Gloucester City fire on July 4th, 2002.
Congratulations to all our runners who participated in the Heroes to Hero run…fantastic job!!! You can access results through this link: Compuscore
