The PTA needs your help!

Please consider offering your time and talent to one or more of the many efforts we lead to strengthen and enhance our children's education.

If you are interested in getting involved in ANY capacity or have suggestions, please let us know by either e-mailing St. Peter PTA or signing up at Back-to-School night on September 14th.


St. Peter School PTA committees 2011-2012


1. Book Fair: set up and break down book displays, assist children with choosing and purchasing books during event- fall: 11/16, 11/17, 11/18 and spring dates TBA

2. Catholic Schools Week Activities: plan and participate in events- week of 1/29

3. Christmas Bazaar: design and coordinate baskets for auction, set up, decorate and break down, along with participating during event- 11/30 through 12/3

4. Family Envelopes: stuff brown weekly envelopes on Mondays morning

5. Golf Outing: register golfers, distribute materials day of event- 9/26

6. Ice Cream Social:set up, scoop ice cream, clean up, assist with games- 10/14

7. Lunch Money- Count Friday Mornings: assist with weekly lunch count on Friday mornings

8. Lunch Server 11am- 12:15 pm: assist in cafeteria during lunches

9. May Bake Sale: set up, sell, and clean up homemade goodies- 5/6

10. Mothers Tea with 8th Grade Fashion Show: assist with fashions for 8th graders, set up night before and clean up day of event- 4/22

11. Monte Carlo Night: write out, fold, and stuff paperwork, make phone calls, collect donations and assemble baskets for auction, sell tickets, set up and clean up night of the event - TBA

12. Pasta Dinner: prepare foods: chop- 9/14, meatballs- 9/15, sauce- 9/16, set up and decorate- 9/16 and 9/17, serve and clean up during event- 9/17

13. Pretzels- First Fridays: collect money and distribute pretzels

14. Race for Education: help with letter writting, paperwork collections, participate day of event- 5/11 or rain date TBA

15. Room Parent- include child’s grade for September: assist teacher to plan and coordinate class parties and activities, attend class trips, plan and set up teacher luncheons for faculty meetings on first Fridays, set up, serve, and clean up refreshments for special events

16. SCRIP: collect, fill, and distribute SCRIP orders during school day and after masses

17. Trunk and Treat Event: assist with parking, tickets, and bags day of event- 10/27

18. Welcoming- New Families: call and keep in touch with new families; answer families questions
