Dress Code

Students dress in uniform from the first day of school in September to the last school day in June.

When attending Mass, students are expected to wear the uniform that is in effect at that time. For example, during the fall/spring months students are expected to wear the summer uniforms; during the winter months, students are expected to wear the formal winter uniform on Mass days.

Students who do not tie their own shoe laces must wear school shoes and gym shoes that do NOT require laces (must be slip-on, buckle, or have Velcro fasteners.)

Saints Swap Shop

Over the years, the St. Peter School Family has donated a large number of school uniform components that students have outgrown. These items are available free of charge in the St. Peter School lower level.

Parents are welcome to browse the items during school hours; please check in at the main office. If you'd like to visit after 3pm, please make an appointment with the school office.

If you wish to donate items, please clean them before bringing into school; you are welcome to drop them off in the office during school hours.

Thanks to our Art Teacher, Mrs. Allende, who has bravely taken on the task of curating these items for their new owners!

Dress Down Days

Dress Down Days are offered regularly by Student Council (and occasionally, the Principal!) for a small donation to support charitable causes chosen by the student body.

During Dress Down Days, students are still expected to present a tidy, age-appropriate appearance--for example, no rips or holes in jeans; no sleeveless shirts, etc. The School Handbook has complete information about what is permitted during dress down days. (approximately p. 45)

No Dress Down passes may be used on Fridays. Students are expected to attend school in their school uniform for Friday Mass.
