5th graders I terview teachers to solve a problem with 3d design.
Valentine STEM class for prek 3- building a boat to hold & float candy hearts. We used candy hearts to build pyramids, mazes and for learning to balance objects. We also placed a candy heart into 3 different liquids to see if they would dissolve.
Prek 3 heart-throb: Congratulations to Luke for earning a kindness heart today for saying “ladies first” when we were lining up & letting a girl go ahead of him.

Today our 2nd graders received First Penance, a great milestone for them. Special thanks to Mrs. DiBease for coming out to assist with this and support our students. The habit of penitence and trust in the mercy of God at all times is the key to a life of virtue and peace!
PreK 3 Little Saints made polar bear masks after learning about arctic animals.
Von explains the benefits of blubber. PreK 3 experienced what its like to have blubber to keep warm! After putting one hand in ice water inside a blubber glove and one hand in ice water without it, we learned that blubber keeps the arctic animals warm!
