PreK-3 celebrated Thanksgiving today with yummy food, turkey crafts and even pin the hat on the turkey game! We are thankful for our volunteers who helped us today and for all our families and friends.
Monday Morning Magic November 20, 2023 - It was a great one!
Mrs. O recognizes the choir for their great work at the 8:30 Mass on Sunday. Lots of parishioners had great things to say about their beautiful songs! 🎶And we’re proud of our 2nd graders who attended that mass, and who are preparing to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation 🙏🏽 Lots of Thanksgiving Birthdays this week, too 🦃🎂
Big surprise for our Root Beliefs! Instead of reciting and repeating our Root Beliefs, Mrs. Pearson turned it into a song, and third grade sang it for us! 🪕

We also inducted our Student Council Officers this morning! Congratulations President Kaylynn, Vice President Roman, Treasurer Mary Cate and Secretary Gregorio. We trust you with the leadership of our school! ✨
And we're giving thanks for a short week!
1st and 4th Grade reading buddies📖💚💛💜
Monday Morning Magic for November 13! It's a short week; have you scheduled your conferences for Thursday or Friday?
We have so many students nominating each other that Mrs. O set up a place outside the main office for your virtue nominations! Let's keep the positive encouragement coming <3
- Sophia V. received 3 awards, two of them from fellow students! Jude nominated her for CHARITY, for always holding the door for ALL the midde schoolers at recess time
- And Alvin awarded Miss Manfredonia for CHARITY, for always giving him a little extra help 💯
Saints Circles: Today is World Kindness Day. WE BELIEVE that kindness is contagious. We all wrote down one act of kindness we are going to do today!
- Hold the door for someone (inspired by Sophia!) 🚪
- Bring in food for our food drive
- Share a toy at recess ⚽️
- Share a snack at lunch
- Help the teacher clean up
- Say good morning 🌈
- Say hello to everyone in the hallway
- Sit with someone who feel sad
- Compliment someone
Prek4 spent our Fun Friday in our new fabulous Library! We partnered up with our new 3rd grade friends. They read a story to us.
All about the letter D in PreK-3 today! we had a wonderful picnic outside dogs and donuts and made donut Ds with puff paint. We also enjoyed some vitamin D!
Monday Morning Magic for November 6, 2023!
No on time award 👀 not enough classes had on time attendance last week! Come on Saints, we can do better than that! Three Birthdays, and two new students! Welcome Natalie and Isabella!
Lots of CHARITY awards this week! Students supporting and encouraging each other. Mrs. Newman recognizes Jayla for working hard and showing improvement throughout the year. Isabella recognizes the altar servers for their faith every Friday at Mass ✝️ And Isabella also acknowledges all the teachers for their encouragement and positive influence!
Saints Circles:
Root belief #3: How can we *live* being a positive influence on others?
- Singing the hymns and following the Mass in church, especially 7th and 8th graders with their Kinder and 1st grade church buddies 🎶
- Helping other people not feel alone
- Including people in your recess group 🏈
- Forgiving people 😎
- Sticking up for people when others are being mean
- Welcoming new students (like Natalie and Isabella!)
- Treat others the way you want to be treated, with love ❤️ and respect
- Paying good deeds forward to someone else
- Always do the very best you can

First day of winter uniforms and we got the heat on in the gym for the first time this year woohoo! 😂 🔥
First and sixth had perfect attendance… but NO ONE won the on-time award last week 👀 Just as a reminder for our parents, when a class has all students in on time, they are entered into a drawing for the week, and we pick a winning class the following Monday. Mrs. O’Callaghan brings them donuts! ⏰🍩✅
Lots of virtues for CHARITY this week—students helping students! Mrs. O’Callaghan awarded our elementary school aide Mrs. Nicholls for PRUDENCE for being such a great support staff member for our teachers—she’s always willing to step in and do whatever is needed for our students!🌟
And Jimmy awarded the whole choir for FAITH and the excellent music they provide us at mass every Friday! 🎤🎶🎵
Saints Circles: Encouraging each other.
Mrs. O’Callaghan mentions the award Alejandra was given for CHARITY: always saying “Good Morning” to teachers, helping students organize their things, holding the door for others. Mrs. O reminds 8th grade that as leaders of the school, they are called to be an example for all the other students in the school. 🙏🏽
How can we encourage each other?
- Cheering each other on 🎉
- Inviting people to play at recess helps them not to be alone 🏈
- If someone isn’t sure about trying something new, you can support them because they might not know what they’re missing! 💪🏽
- Helping other students to complete hard math problems ✖️➗➕➖
