Monday Morning Magic January 15 - Happy Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day! 2nd grade wins on-time award ⏰ Mrs. Lammers nominated Teigan and Eddie for their FAITH and great behavior on Fridays during Mass. And Mrs. DiBease awarded Jaeliana for PRUDENCE for her incredible improvement in math this quarter! Angel thanked Paul and Victor for their CHARITY, and with helping him clean out his locker. And Mrs. O’Callaghan awarded Kailee and Roman for their FAITH and leadership of the choir on Friday when Mrs. Pearson was out. Celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. today, and learning about the work he did to end segregation for People of Color in the mid-twentieth century. Today we honored his legacy with a school-wide service project, packing bags with toiletry items and snacks for Project HOME in Philadelphia. Even Pre-K joined us for this special event! Thanks to our middle schoolers who helped our Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First graders with this project. "We've got some difficult days ahead. But it doesn't matter with me now. Because I've been to the mountaintop. And I don't mind. Like anybody, I would like to live a long life. Longevity has its place. But I'm not concerned about that now. I just want to do God's will. And He's allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I've looked over. And I've seen the promised land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised land. And I'm happy, tonight. I'm not worried about anything. I'm not fearing any man. Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord." - January 3, 1968 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pIUOdrWl-ts #SouthJerseyCatholicSchools #MLKDayOfService

First Monday Morning Magic of 2024! Happy New Year Saints! Lots of New Year birthdays! Miss Knipp acknowledges Savien for charity, for always helping out when her classmates need it. Ben awarded Mrs. O'Callaghan for her kindness. Aaliyah gave Mrs. Pearson an award for her hard work on the school concert. Alana recognized Cali for all her help with 3rd grade at the end of the day. And Mrs. O’Callaghan awarded Jason for fortitude for helping his Kindergarten buddy keep it together during Mass last Friday 😂 Saints Circles: What’s your favorite thing about Winter? Snow, and snow days! And the Superbowl (even if the Eagles don't make it...) and, of course, hot chocolate! Celebrating the Epiphany this weekend: the Three Wise Men followed the star because they knew the baby Jesus, the Savior of the World, was there. Once you decide to follow Jesus, you can’t stay where you are. And you can’t go back the way you came! How can we show that we are followers of Jesus? - Participating in Mass with our family and our community - Being kind to others - Helping people - Praying and thanking Jesus before you go to bed - Studying the Bible - Praying with your friends And with a group high five we’re setting off for an amazing 2024!

And with his Christmas blessing, we are off on a joy-filled week! #SouthJerseyCatholicSchools
