Prek4 finished up the week with Red fish, Blue fish, One fish, Two fish. We listened to the story, sorted cheddar fishes, and read a Dr. Seuss book with the 3rd grade. What a wonderful week!

We were treated to the recitation of a poem by Miss Manfredonia's 3rd grade class: A Little Kingdom by Louisa May Alcott. They did a wonderful job! Full video coming soon...!
Saints Circles: it's Read Across America Week, so of course we're talking about books! What's your favorite book?
Mrs. Marisi - Island of the Blue Dolphins

Mrs. Hall - Little House on the Prairie
Mrs. Roseboro - Because a Little Bug Went Ka-choo!
Ms. Hollinger - A Wrinkle in Time

Mrs. DiBease - The Magic Treehouse (yes, all of them!)
Then we wrote acrostic poems with book titles:
R - Rainbow Fish
E - Encyclopedia Brown
A - Across Five Aprils
D - Diary of a Wimpy Kid
....and so many more!
Then we packed up all our books and we're off to another great Read Across America Adventure! Tomorrow is Hats Off to Reading Day -- don't forget your wacky hat!

Happy birthday Dr. Seuss! PreK-3 was all about the Cat in the Hat today! We made Thing 1 and Thing 2, wore Cat in the Hat masks and even did math with Dr. Seuss book characters. So much fun.
Back to Monday Morning Magic after a week away! Catching up on birthdays... and plenty of virtues after missing a week!
Mrs. DiBease awards Carleigh for always being a positive influence in the classroom. And MJ is recognized for his "Justice" when he remembered to bring in his dress down pass...the day after :)
Saints Circles: Talking about fasting: why do we fast for lent? So we don’t become so reliant on “things”, and remember Jesus is the only one that we need to rely on in life. What will you fast from this Lenten season? And, what is a positive change you will make to your habits to show Jesus' love?
- Fasting from sweets & junk food
- Interrupting in class
- Complaining
- Procrastination
- Helping people more
- Spending more time with God
- Fighting less with siblings
- Being more respectful
- Turning homework in on time

Learning about the letter J and jellyfish today in PreK-3. We made cool paper plate jellyfish to help with our motor skills and even did a science experiment with a salt lined jelly fish diffusing the colors like magic! Learning with friends is so much fun.
Our bulletin boards are full of love this month. Mrs. Terry has a candy box full of all her little PreK-3 sweeties.
PreK-3 had the best time listening to Mr. Kaulinis about safety and his awesome K9 companion Ringo. I see some future police officers ❤️
Prek 4 had a lot of fun this week talking about Community Helpers . Thanks to our parents for coming in to share what they do in our community!

Saints Circles: what are you going to do to make our school a kinder place?

- And Joaquin is going to make brownies to all the teachers! (at least that's what we heard him say.....👀)

Celebrating 100 days of 1st Grade!😁💯💚💛💜
Our Pre K 3 students aged to 100 years old for our 100th day of school! We also turned ourselves into $100 dollar bills! 100 days of fun so far.
Snowball fight in 1st Grade❄️ Practicing our addition and subtraction facts while having fun!💚💛💜
PreK-3 listened to Mrs. Worona read a book about “What Snowman Do at Night”. It was so fun. We then had snowballs cheese snacks for a treat!
It was so great having Robert's mom come in this morning to read to our Prek4 class and bring a treat! This is a great start to our Catholic Schools Week! The children loved it! A big thank you to our parents!
